CheersA Poem by A. V. MadisonI remember a time when people weren't so blind when people didn't sell their bodies to old men that called them hotties
When men didn't wear their pants around their knees or when preteen boys stole their neighbor's car keys When all you heard was classic rock on the radio Turn up some Aerosmith on the stereo
When Purple Rain ruled the planet not some weird Skrillex fanatics when it was about the music & beats not rap about sex that men got off the streets
So cheers to me, and cheers to you Maybe tomorrow the sky won't be blue because I'm tired of hearing rap on every other station Where's the true music, people? Or does sex rule the nation?
