Apogee

Apogee

A Poem by Jennifer Hopkins

Caught between the expanse
Of out-of-place breaths and
Unadulterated laughter is you.

And if this here and now
Is not all there is,
I have been fooled.

My aeipathy for living
Devours me whole
And I am alive,
Always.

Will your orbit follow?

I have abandoned lost time
And thinking of what-else
In exchange for flosculations of gaudiloquence.

And between the fleeting moments
Of logic and of reason

is you.

you have a flair for words.... I'm reeling at aeipathy and flosculations... feels like you have cut perfectly beautiful slices in this piece.. and captured those in between moments... wonderful piece.
