Ever-Striving

Ever-Striving

A Poem by Jennifer Hopkins

I'm recycling feelings
And gaping at the holes in history.

I need new resources
And you're here to help me find them.

To be wrapped in strong arms
Surrounded in knowledge
Embraced by the sweet hand of genius
To find my place amidst all this.

Your mind flares my creativity
And pushes me to be more
Than a wish for this ever-striving.

I'm gaping at the holes in my history,
Filling them with your knowing

this is inspiring literature.. so honest, sweet, intelligent and poetic.. "your mind flares my creativity"... I think so too, it is definitely working and it's a spectacular partnership!
