An Accountant's Afternoon

A story for a competition where the words all had to start with the same letter. An accountant's office seemed a suitable setting for lots of words beginning with "A"!

 

 

"Are all Amanda's accounts acceptable?" Adam asked Aaron, anxious about an associate. 

 

Aaron agreed.  "All amendments appeared appropriate."

 

"Amazing!  And Amy's also?"

 

"Apparently, assuming adjustments are actually allowable," Aaron answered, admiring Adam's Adidas attire. 

 

Adam assumed an aggravated attitude.  "A*s!"

 

"Alright!" Aaron apologized, annoyed.

 

"And also..." Adam added another account. "Additional advertising." 

 

"Ah."

 

Aaron's assistant Angela arrived. "Adam activated an alarm!" Angela accused.

 

"Accidentally," Adam admitted, amused.

 

"Accidentally?  Again?" Angela admonished, although allowing Adam's amorous approach. 

Author's Note

It's kind of difficult to tailor a story to words beginning with the same letter, but hope you like my attempt! (Note: Adidas is a sports brand, if you are wondering :-)

Very interesting. With all of the words starting with the same letter it almost seems like a childrens story.
