Autumn

Looking out of my window, I see the beautiful amber tones of the trees in autumn and it makes me think of brass music. I find this piece, and it makes me think:
Autumn is about transition; thoughtful, bruised leaves swirl to the ground as everything turns inward for Winter. Life almost seems to leave the outside world as plants and creatures mostly hibernate away, fairly motionless....they must only be thinking, if movement isn't occurring. I'm feeling urges to sever some relationships and pursue others - I'm following them, and whilst it can be tricky and painful at first, I always feel incredibly energised when I've heeded the sounds of my heart.
