Oh, you

Oh, you

A Poem by Rebekah Smith
"

We have an awful relationship.

"
Every time I think of you
My eyes fill with water
Because although I call you Mum,
I don't feel like your daughter
And it isn't easy
To explain my reasons
And you always change topic -
You change faster than seasons.

There's so much in your DNA
That influences how you act,
But when you start to shout at me
I overlook that fact
'Cause I'm all mixed up too
And some of it's because of you
And can we not just talk?
Try to fit my shoes
We're very different people
But some parts are just the same;
I'd really like to know you,
You're the reason for my name.

This is true ... many girls want to know parts of them that come from there parents but how can they when they are at such distance with them.

Very well written
