Oh, I don't know.

Oh, I don't know.

A Poem by Rebekah Smith
"

Another weird work. 07:04:2016

"
Every second's like a lifetime
With everything captured in mind
I'll drown it in a bassline
Break out of line, break up the line
Words I've said just to forget
The expectation's never met
If you notice me I'm in your debt
Can I give up yet? Won't give up yet

Oh, and the world it trickles in
Through the drains in your head,
Oh, we just want to fit our skin
And understand before we're dead;
The milk in the sky keeps frothing
To make the clouds, that just keep rocking
'Round this blue-green ball we live on -
Take it off, and give on!
Give on.

Swimming through the soup of dreams
Trailing sun as it flashes in beams
Letters flooding the paper in reams
This is a trap, it must be a trap
With air stroking my outer shell
I tumble & fall deep into a well
Ask for answers, only time will tell
How I will stop, when and why do I drop?

Oh, it's so hard to see the end
We all stress and strain the eyes,
Oh, so focus 'now' and a friend
Instead of 'then' and the goodbyes,
It's not easy to do but we can change direction
By handing around good vibes & affection
Climb down from that throne you sit on -
Take it off, and give on!
Give on.
