A Melancholy 'Sometimes'

A Melancholy 'Sometimes'

A Poem by Rebekah Smith
"

Just what it says on the tin.

"
Sometimes it's not about how much effort is put in.
That can't always be enough.
Sometimes, there is no way to win.
It's a test to prove you are tough.
Sometimes nothing at all makes sense.
No lesson learned can help.
Sometimes, I just feel so tense.
Want to break apart, cry out, yelp.
Sometimes all that's clear is catastrophe.
S**t and scum pacing the Earth.
Sometimes, it's harder than it has to be.

Sometimes, I hate my parents for my birth.

Gee
Sometimes I've wished I was an orphan, found in a bin, my only family the alley cats that raised me. Sometimes......I think it may well be the male menopause, sad, happy, sure, unsure, confused, prone to waffling( as you can see)
