Don't Do ItA Poem by Rebekah SmithPeople do silly things sometimes.
Don't say that you'll be there
If you won't. It's like telling a man made of rock That he'll float. Getting his heart in a tizzy, Senses drifting and dizzy, When you know he shall drown Minus a boat. Don't say that you're coping If you're not. It's like saying that you remembered When you forgot. Covering lies up in lies, And whilst dazzling their eyes, The lava's rising & you're already Far too hot. © 2016 Rebekah Smith |
