Just BecauseA Poem by WallfloristPoetry for speaking, and shouting and screamingJust because Just because, I say Just because, I say and say again Need I scream it? Would that make you question its truth? Must I justify every thought, every word, every action or stillness for you? Is justification what you need? Do you need me to tell you that it quiets my mind and slows
my heart with gentle pressure, Not pressure like the pressure you are exerting on me with
your reason searching, truth seeking Is it the truth that you need? Or is it my conformity, my sameness,
my alliance with your thoughts, your words, your actions, your stillness? Do you have a stillness? A quietness? A contentment? That shouldn’t be for me to question but here I am, here we are, with questions between us Where is your truth? Where are those things that matter
only to you? Without question Did someone question your response? Your ‘just because’? Is that where you discarded yourself? Became what was demanded
of you? Demanded or given freely? How much did it take for you to lie down, step aside, dull every fragment of yourself? No question. No justification. Did a question take it from you? ‘just because’ was once enough Should be enough Is enough You were enough I am enough Just because © 2024 WallfloristReviews
