Messiah ComplexA Poem by Walker AndreasenNo I'm not being cocky in this song. Just trying to make a point. Think about the song title while you read this. If you don't know what it means, the definition is below in my review.
Being my life it is my choice,
And being my choice it is my will. And I know the difference between right and wrong. We're arrogant fools with lifeless eyes, We're in this together let no one deny: That we judge each other. We say harsh words while we look down long noses, without looking inwards, how can we expose it? But ourselves condemning. [bridge] Cuz it's my life and I'll do things my way. Cuz it's my consequences for which I'll pay He's worthless because he slashes his wrists Says the the girl who ties it off, pumps her first, pokes a vein to inject the poison, in her arm. She's the school s**t cuz she fooled around once And now a teen mom. Says the boy who brags he got it on With 20 girls or so. [Bridge] How can you judge me, because I sin differently? Hypocrisy is the worlds history. [chorus] Shut your mouth and get outta my way. Look at yourself you have your own crimes to pay (for) Fix yourself before you start judging me! [musical interlude] [same tune as chorus] It's my life and I'll do things my way. It's my consequences for which I'll pay. Fix yourself before you start judging me! [chorus]
