People can become very easily conditioned into new ways of seeing things, often by their own built up delusions. Resentment growing inside of a person can be poisonous, and absolutely tragic. We humans really can be open with each other - it's just more rare than most think.

I agree completely! But not only are the liars the ones who are "ever scared" but the ones who are receiving the lies are too because the liar is afraid that his/her lies will be revealed and the receiver is afraid that maybe everyone else could be lying too.Lying makes people insecure and afraid to trust. Great poem with lots of truth in so few lines.
