Humanity

Humanity

A Poem by Skye

Weak life flickers in their
Lifeless eyes
All hope is gone
Diminished slowly
Though the cruel mistreatment
Disguised so wrongly as
Harmless nothingness
Fully accepted,
Never questioned
We took control
Claimed what in truth
Was really never ours
Then grew angry
When their violence for the
Injustice
Finally took hold
How ignorant!
How selfish
To punish those
Who have themselves
Been wronged

About
Sometimes, I forget my passion underneath the demands of life and want of perfection. Then there are those nights where everything is clear, and I can't help but write what I feel. I love meeting .. more..
