I will rise where you have pushed me down

Every night I've cried your name

Hoping that just maybe you'll hear

I tried to tell you

Make you see

How much you really meant to me

My heart, it's broken

Lost forever 

On waves of unshed tears 

But my pleas are over

Along with my cares

I can't force you to see

What your blind eyes won't

I've given up on all my dreams

How hard it is to let go of something or someone you love....but I like that you're going to wipe your slate clean and start anew! A very sad poem with a tinge of a happy ending. You're most definitely taking charge. Wonderful Skye ^_~
