Forever Alone

When you have no one and give up on trying to find anyone.

Hide and cry that’s how I got by

I couldn’t even sigh to the sky

They couldn’t have just walked by

It’s not like I cried to be tried

To be pushed and shook

To be took to that hidden nook where none can look

To be taken under the book

Because they all refuse to look and seek

I am alone in this death zone

Like a deserted ice cream cone

Like throwing a cat a bone

They won’t ever be in the zone

Cry and pout

Don’t whine and shout

Cut and bruise

They can’t know what this is about

I know they will shout in my face

I know I have to do to make it stop

To make it still

I have to take the pills

They spill to the ground

I take my fill and watch all go still

Because I am still alone
