Iowa Temple

A Poem by The Twin Arenas
"

The Fewtch

"
I borrowed a guitar
from the deaf lady's daughter
carried it
on my back felt
the warmth about
the waist of the blonde

Stairs sunk
like rising water
like a sunset backwards
rises
massive spires curves like gold brick rainbows and blues

I saw her
and saw what

I wanted to see

the curves and lace

the curves, the lace, the music of her...nice analogy of guitar to a woman---

reminds me of an old poem i read years ago...similar analogy...but yours is sweeter the way it is presented...
sound and feel vs. sight...ah those curves...the sensual music.

Very nice use of words. Needed some music to make a perfect song and journey. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry my friend..
