there is a quality to your writing that i think challenges or directs the awareness of the reade and tries to take it to a different field of understanding, even if that understanding might be subtle or subconscious, i see that the movement you put into your poetry is not lost on others. i don't think it is just me, i get that impression from reading what others have reviewed.
Is 'oven light' a metaphor for that kind of insane material, since it can't be felt or touched by us, but still can bake cakes, roast things??

It's a powerful, meaningless thing. It's also an enlightening word. "Oven" to me, makes me think of very dark things. Obviously, "light" does not. I wanted the poem to end in terror and futility, but with light as well. Oven light.
Building a society on lies and prejudices, or half-truths and obstinacy... yes, that's insane, and takes forever to build on such weak foundations... This is where your words took me, WS.
This poem is very mysterious to the common eye. I have no idea what it is about except surely there had been some indiscretion in terms of building materials, etc. but in other towns, not this one. The people of this land seem respectfully mindful of conservation. There could be a hidden meaning for an inside audience, that the common reader would not be aware of or able to figure out.

Right tool for the right job! The teacher at Uni. Went on and one it had nothing to do with actualy building as in physical but she still used it. It got so bad we could begin to anticipate the moment when the expression would be used. Organic processes do not depend on synthetic materials but we have forgotten how to build something that would enoble the image of Men. How do we build now? Well at the moment we seem intent in not building. Waconda is telling me that the dynamics of building have lost its sanity. Well destruction seems furnace vaporous and it still doesn't manage to reach the sane.
These are the words, and feelings of any man who earns his corn by his sweat, the bosses wanna cut one corner that leads to three. and Here is this workin man sayin, "How" I liked this cause it reminds all of us of want vs need.
