XmasA Poem by The Twin Arenaseverybody stopsHe had to stop for gas on his way to play music and she was filling up a small red car with a dirty undercarriage. Nobody cares how old anybody is. He could feel inside moving while he filled. They'd just go back to his house. He wouldn't play music tonight. He wouldn't play music for days. He paid for his gas and stopped to ask her if she was married. She smiled and said that she was. He turned and got into his car and drove away to play music. He never filled up at that station again and sometimes she did. © 2014 The Twin ArenasReviews
