Dada Had A Bad Day Again

Dada Had A Bad Day Again

A Poem by Jason
"

Had a bad day....So glad I have my daughter in my life, that is all I can say. Corny? Maybe, but oh well.... I love that little girl...

"

Come here here baby,

Dada had a bad day again.

I guess you could say that your dada's in a bad way again.

Just give me a hug and giggle like you saw your best friend again

Help my heart mend again, for you are my best accomplishment

A heart made of stone can melt within the smile of a child

And scatter those stones within the wind placed across many miles

Come here real quick baby,

Your daddy's got vision he would like to share with you to pass on to your children

Never be like me, and always chase your dreams

No matter how hard it may be, you must always believe

Like your father used to but has become hidden behind my anger

This chip upon my shoulder has me feeling like a stranger

Within my own family,

And their constant drugged drinking has me praying on insanity....

Kylee, you save me....

You really really saved me, made into a better man you did baby.

Took my broken heart and mended it greatly

We love our sponge bob, just like mashed potatoes and gravy, right baby??

So please Kylee, tell me that you love me as much as daddy loves you...

Dada had a bad day again, but I don't want you to see...

The pain within my eyes, for you are way too young and giddy

To become depressed as a result of the way that you are living

Make dada smile, so we can laugh into the night

Until we pass out in the living room holding our wii remote's tight

Let Mario sing and Yoshi cure the pain

Help me get up on your level so free to dream and play.

Oh this is so sweet. So very true. It is amazing how children can make you feel alive and wonderful and melt the stresses away. I know your daughter is your world. I say who cares be corny. It is always nice to see the softer side of people. Lincoln is into Go Diego Go on the Wii. Be grateful as well you have a little control over what you play. haha
Excellent touching piece. Well done.

No, Not corny at all! I love this, the light feeling of cuddling a lovely person in your arms. eventhough i'm not a parent yet, i know, and i wanna be one, the happiness over familial love that this poem shows is innate in every human beings, and that makes it beautiful.
