Short Idea for a Story...?

Input, please!

Sorry I've been away for a few months, guys, but I'm back now. With a few poems I wrote in Europe about the places I've seen. And a new idea for a story I keep having dreams about. Tell me what you think!

 

Note: The story's in first person

 

I grew up among the human race. Thinking I was human along with everyone one else. Until one foggy night, I am awoke into a world of another species. Let alone a world of war. Vampires. Who would've thought they actually existed. But nothing like what the stories were talking about. Torn between lies, truth, and love, I fulfill the legend and save the vampire race.

 

 

And no, it's not like Twilight. Jeez. but that was actually my dream and I think it might be an alright story to make. Let me know what you think!

Not really, that was my dream. I know its gonna be based on a certain marking of vampires and a special ability like walking in the sun but their strength only comes at night. Something like that. As for the legend, like I said a marking that lights up on a certain occassion. Idk

Hi there, it sounds intriguing so far. The question I ask myself though is if you have any more details as to what the plot would be? So it might be easier to actually give proper input. Or do you have an idea for a specific wording of the legend already?
