LoveA Poem by Ian FarawayA cry of desperationLove With it’s many question Accompanies everyone in life Whether they like it or not Love Something that has an age requirement? I say NOT An emotion shouldn’t have a law on it Love In today’s society What’s lust…and what’s love Is getting harder to contrast Love The one thing I’ve felt that was real That made me feel alive Only to be rejected by that person LOVE You cannot stop the emotion It will consume you Into a deep ecstasy which you will not want to escape LOVE! As if screamed from a mountain top Give me your heart And I will share what’s left of mine LOVE! A strange torture One which one does not want But need! Love me That’s all I ask For it’s your love I have strength If I don’t have it, I will fade Love Will be the end of me The end of my sorrows Or the beginning of a new found misery? LOVE! LOVE Love love That’s all I ask of you, my love © 2010 Ian FarawayReviews
