The One

The One

A Poem by Ian Faraway
"

This is for all those who had that one person that made them feel funny and went for it!

"
My hearts starts pacing
My feet pacing
My mind is clouded from logic
It feels like a spark of magic
Brown Eyes
My demise
Blinding Smile
Is making me stay a while
My body is shaking in fear
My speech is getting less clear

First time this happened since she's been gone
Thought I was done but maybe I was wrong
Sitting here caught in love music
Starting to lose it
Her voice
God's perfect choice
Her smile
Makes me think she's worthwhile
Her eyes
Has left my tongue dry

So what do you say to a girl whose made you fall?
Makes you feel lonely with closing in walls?
I need her
She's my answer
She doesn't need me
You can tell by the way she carries her body
One moment; One shot
Thinking about this is making me hot
I talk to her in a tone that's not my best
...SHE SAID 'YES!'

Beautiful. Love this one.

Haha this is great(: I like it a lot. The only criticism I have it like Norma said, I think it's supposed to be, "My heart is racing" right? And also, some of the rhymes sound a little forced, and just don't work. Good job though!

First one is racing... haven't you heard of "heart is racing"....or maybe it's "pacing" hell I can't remember, but I meant it as 'racing'

This is cute. One question. Did you mean to repeat pacing in the first two sentences or did you mean for the first one to be racing?
