It's Too Late

It's Too Late

A Poem by Ian Faraway
"

Just something I cooked up, not my best but defiantly speaks for me and a lot of people out there.

"
It's too late
I'm losing myself again
It's too late
Why bother to begin?

You left me alone right here
Said the words I was scared to hear
Now you're gone away
So broken, I didn't know what to say
All our memories making me sad
How could something so good hurt so bad?
Didn't you know how much I loved you?
I don't understand, what did I do?
Maybe it was something I said
To make you leave such a lonely bed

It's too late
I'm losing myself again
It's too late
Why bother to begin?

Came into my life blinding me
Conquered my heart and set me free
It was great for a little while
My problems turned into a small problem
Then you turned it into f*****g Everest
Turned away from what you promised
But it doesn't matter, my road ends
Shattered something you promised to mend
I can't deal with this pain in this life
Peace floods over me with this knife

It's too late
I'm losing myself again
It's too late
Why bother to begin?

Fabulous, originial rhyme scheme. I think most of us have been down this road before: "What did I do to deserve this from you?" It displays the bewilderment of these situations from the victim's point of view.
Sorry for being so late! I'm just getting around to these read requests of mine.
