My Meadow

My Meadow

A Poem by Ian Faraway
"

I got this idea when in the forums of the Imagination group and responding to The Daydream Meadow forum

"
I lay amongst the flowers of scents so sweet

Watching wind glide gently through the old Maple tree

There are no phones, no drama, no false personalities

I am me

 Here in this gentle meadow

Shall I dance with the flowers as they dance in unison

with wind running through them so smooth?

Or shall I sit against the maple tree and let the meadow

tell me its story?

Look towards the sky and there is no sadness, not a

single tear will drop upon this meadow.

The sun grins its warmth at me and I smile back in true

happiness.

I am me in this Daydream Meadow.

Perfect grammar/spelling wise. As for your writing it was nice and lovely with peace. A day to take hold and listen to nature as if it was a dream in your own lovely meadow. Nicely done with a creativity.

aww, really good poem,it's kind of like stepping away from technology and modern time to a more simple pure reality.

It's kind of like describing heaven I think,it's different for everyone.

There are no phones, no drama, no false personalities

I am me

I really liked that line, between lies and truths.
