What does it mean

When you wake up in the morning

And just force yourself back to sleep

Because you know without a doubt

That the dream will be better than life

What does it mean

When you feel your eyes start to water

But tears don't fall down your cheek

Because you don't want the world to see

Just how broken and empty you feel

What does it mean

When you want to reach out

And scream for someone to save you

Because you want someone to care 

That you feel like you're fading

What does it mean

When you're angry at it all

How weak and powerless you feel

Because you want to be strong

And rise above what's holding you down

What does it mean

When you're hanging by a thread

And you're not even sure why

Because it feels pointless to try

And the void gets bigger inside
