God's A...

Some steam being let out after reading a post

Today I read a quote that read:
"Sometimes God lets you hit rock bottom
So that you will discover
He is the rock at the bottom"
I could not help but laugh aloud
But the blood in my veins started boiling

When my frustration is high
I tend to use sarcasm to express
My high level of frustration
So I replied in the point of view of God
"Let me do nothing as you fall to rock bottom
And expect you to worship and pray to me in return"

Even this response didn't satisfy me
Or make me feel better in the slightest
Maybe it was because I found it to be true
So no matter what I said
It would not change the fact
That God is a dick

It always makes me laugh when I see people telling others that 'God doesn't approve' or 'God wants us to do this' when in reality we have no idea who God really is or how he wants things to be. I always laugh at the people who shove God down others throats. My retaliation is this poem, nice little humor with a sour taste.

I believe this is a perspective of the ones who really don't know him. Many times we know "of him" we know "about what we have heard of him" and so yea when we hear these little cliqches of him and his love and his faithfulness yet have never experienced it or seen anyone experience it. Sure it can see that he is just that.

I think many people wonder what God has to say about the things and events that occur if their life.. sometimes I wonder myself how does God relate to what I'm going through... I think saying God is a dick is funny and said without any means of disrepect.
