SAIL

SAIL

A Poem by Ian Faraway
"

My boat called Seclusion and I

"
Take me down to the sea
Where my boat named Seclusion
Floats a top the current
Waiting only for me

Watch me as I sail out
Onto the horizon
"Keep all of the memories!"
Is all you'll hear me shout

Seclusion, let's leave this place
So we can fly with the birds
Without the weight of sadness
Keeping us from the sun's embrace

We'll lose the pain in the breeze
As we chase our own stars
Not caring what is behind us
I might finally be able to be at ease

I like seclusion. Good to find places of peace and calm. Nice description led me to a good place with your words. Thank you for the excellent poem.
