Poem For You, My Love

Something I wrote in wake of dormant feelings

It's been years
Since I've seen an angel
Cry tears
So beautiful
Until scars appears

it's been too long
Since I've felt your warmth
In my heart where you belong
So tell me
Should this feel wrong?

It's been awhile
Since you turned away
And went into exile
So let me know why you hide
Yourself on a lonely isle

Though you may be broken
To me you are perfect
I will always heat the frozen
I will hold on tight
Until all pain is forgotten
