From Under The Rock

From Under The Rock

A Poem by W R Stowe

"From Under The Rock"

Oh how heavy this rock!
Mounting pressure creating a lock.

So many bills and so little money.
Creating great tension with my honey.

Oh dear Lord I pray daily.
This massive depressions so grey.

Oh how much I depend upon you Lord.
You can lift this rock from just your word.

Yet I will stay true to my faith.
And await upon my pending fate.

If I'm intended to bear this weight,
I'm assured that your help won't be too late.
