![]() Moat your CastleA Poem by W R Stowe
Sometimes our lives are like a castle
We dig a moat to detour many hassles The sea of strife will come raging against us So many unhappy people that fight and fuss We place our vulnerability up in the tower Where words are penned that give us power We catapult love and kindness in our defense Then the sea of sin tries to engulf our fence Insults and cursing's are shot up into the air Reply with love from a heart that cares They use power and greed to back up hate and anger The enemy continues hurling propaganda of danger Our troops are on their knees praying But our faith in God isn't swaying All the evilness that a man can do Denying God's word which is always true One by one they keep falling down Their leaders grin turning into a frown With love and kindness blessings begin to shower Slowly but surely decreasing Satan's power So dig your trenches and make your moat And arm all your soldiers with God's Holy lighting bolt © 2015 W R StoweAuthor's Note
