Letter To Mr. DeathA Poem by W R Stowe
All my life I've had a reoccurring nightmare.
I would be riding my bike without a care. While hugging a bend around the mountain side, a car runs me through the guard rail aside. So I am now writing this letter to Mr. Death. you don't scare me so don't hold your breath. Maybe as a young boy you controlled my fear, and it may of influenced my career. But that was way back then! Now I'm much older and am Quinn. You hold no control over me, Jesus had died and set me free. I'm back riding that bike again, around those mountains on those tight rims. I am riding free and sure, seems my salvation was the cure. Thank you Lord for delivering this mail, straight to Mr. Death that resides in Hell. © 2015 W R StoweAuthor's NoteReviews
