Melancholy melodies weep in the mind A hopeless soul searching for salvation, as an innocent life dies Begging for revival, while bound to a darkness so heavy and bare In a mind that's beyond haunted, forever living in a nightmare
Wonderful! This is different from most of the pieces you've written. They tend to be longer, but it still has the same intensity as your other ones
great write!

The rhyming is right on time, ans I like that you decided to mix things up and make this a shorter one, but with as much meaning as your other ones.

when i looked at your profile i was taken by the fact that you love the writings of Poe and Plath. i must confess that i am not so familiar with Sylvia Plath's work but Poe is my absolute favorite ...your art reflects that darker nature in us and i find that appealing. this is an excellent write.

You should check out some of Plaths works. They arent quite up to Poe's darkness but she does have quite a few darker, well written pieces. Again, thanks for the review!

This is wonderful! I love the way you expressed the longing for something more; the longing for revival. Words can not expressed how much I like your poem. (:

Thank you for the wonderful review! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. All of your writing has a way of moving the reader, causing them to feel the same way you must have felt when writing the piece. You're truly talented, and when I see a poem of yours, I'm always so eager to read it.

Aww that truly means a lot! Thank you! :) I appreciate your reviews
I write out of expression. I don't know all the "rules of writing" and quite honestly don't really care. I write what I know. I write what I feel. I write beyond the eyes. I write from the heart.
