Faceless PuppetA Poem by Whitney KleinhuizenThoughtless in your ways And blinded with eyes wide open. Repressed by many, Yet your allegiance to enslavement holds strong. Insensibility aiding your ignorance, Abiding to a world that forsakes any who step out of line. Crucifying the dreamers. Condemning the believers. Accustomed to the 'as is'. Forced beliefs, Spineless convictions, Mindless creeds. Pathetic fools, Simpleminded idiots, Oblivious to your strings. Strings that hold you down, Bind you to the ground, And wrap around you neck. So unaware of the noose you created for yourself. One, they will gladly use to hang you with Then be discared into a pit of flame and fire. After all, you're just another Nameless, Faceless Puppet In their play of Pain and pleasure, Sins and secrets. Congratulations, You're a no body and mean nothing To a deceptive world soaked in lies and illusions. © 2012 Whitney KleinhuizenReviews
