MURDER

MURDER

A Poem by Wolly Bully
"

Unexpected Tragedy

"

MURDER

I strolled through the grocery aisle,
bumped in to a friend,
who said

“I was just talking to him,

never thought
I’d be talking to a MURDERER”

Brother on brother

never thought

never thought

a Murderer"

He was my friend

and He was too

life ends by one degree

one drink
one thought
one swing
one pull

of the trigger

trigger of events
fork in the road
hi road
low road

all goes forward
only back in your mind

inward into dimensions
that cannot be touched
only imagined

I miss him
and him

but time has torn the tether

that had bound us

now

he drifts alone
within

Very good use of words.
"one drink
one thought
one swing
one pull
of the trigger"
The above lines I could create a poem from. I like the realness and the flow of thoughts. You create vision and places. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
