Being so close to death

Being so close to death

A Poem by WAkashdeep

The feeling of being so close to death,

The feeling of inhaling your last breadth,

That feeling is really scary,

And from person to person it may vary,

The next day at dawn,

You realise that you are gone,

And nobody can come to your help,

So you'll have to go through it by yourself.

If you ever thought that God will save you,

At the very next moment you realise,

That God betrayed you,

But you are really mistaken, my friend,

Because dying at an early age,

In today's world is a trend.

And if you ever escape it,

You will be sad,

To know that you'll face it again sometime,

Oh! that's too bad,

So don't fear death and be brave,

So that you could be proud of yourself,

While sleeping in your grave.
