I wish you could take my pain away
but how, if you don't want me to stay
I had put my trust in you
we were so close and together we grew
Now I feel helpless and alone
you're here but it feels like you're gone
I took a long time and was never there
but I always thought you'd remain to care
Now that I'm back
I feel you're off your track
My best friend turned her back on me
chose to be someone else, forgot there was a we
I am out of tears so I can't cry
I'm burdened with fears, just wish they'd fly
You make me feel it's my fault I left
like it's my fault I'm now hurt
Best friends don't do that
Still, you'll forever be in my heart
