NOBODY KNOWS

LOVE POEM

"
NOBODY KNOWS
I try to smile
but nobody knows deep inside I hurt
Sometimes I laugh for a while
but nobody knows I harbor a broken heart
The gloom on my face is fake
nobody knows the real one I left in the past
Thinking of love makes my heart ache
nobody knows how this pain can last
I am different some think i am free
nobody knows deeply i`m bound in chains
I am open even help others see
nobody knows I love with my heart`s remains
Often I feel like I am  always wrong
but nobody knows, they always misunderstand
I always have to stand up and stay strong
hoping somebody will know and actually understand

Hiding sorrow and despair was one of the hardest things I had to do for a while. There are days where I still feel like that. The chains we often carry are ones we feel obligated to carry. We don't have to. We never did. But some lies dig deep into our soul, making us forget that we're worthwhile. We all as aspects to ourselves that in itself is an art form. Who we are--our genetic structure--is in its own way a work of art. Remind yourself of that, and I hope you find the peace and healing you seek.

It does get better. We just have to keep ourselves open to it. That can also be hard. But it's worth it. Keep writing, and keep improving upon the writer that you already are. The world needs your voice, no matter how small you may think it is from time to time, or how often it may go unheard.

Speak. Let your truth be known. And know that you're supported in your work :)
