Learn Something New

A reminder to continue learning

I’m not a lyricist, but sometimes I rhyme.

I write from my heart and what’s on my mind.

I’m not a singer, but sometimes I sing.

I give all I can and bring what I bring.

 

I know what I know, and that’s what I can do.

I like a good challenge, so I learn something new.

 

I’m not a teacher, but sometimes I teach.

When the subject at hand is well within reach.

I’m not a genius, but I’m pretty damn smart.

I speak what I feel and I feel from my heart.

 

I’m not all that great at what I can do.

But I’ve learned what I know, and I learn something new.

 

Now we both know I can rhyme teach and sing,

Yet, I’m still just an average, plain human being.

My skills may be different, and some are unique,

But I do what I can and that works for me.

 

So welcome to my world.  Relax.  How’s the view?

And now that you’re comfy, let’s learn something new.
