Vaati is the Wind Mage of Hyrule and the Dark Realm (He controls the wind). But since his mother just randomly left him by the castle gates he never learned how to control his powers. The wind usually depends on his mood

Angry/Upest: Very strong wind.

King Zant and his wife decided against taking care of him like his parent considering Queen Anastacia was already 5 months pregnant. So Princess Olympia took care of him. Making him Zant's younger brother by 18 years.
