I Love You My Friend

I Love You My Friend

A Poem by Victor Warui
"

There is that one friend you can never let go. Even though its hard, their harm to you overweighs their good, send to them this poem.

"
I love you my friend
But its time I'm afraid
For us to part our ways
And savour memories

Years in me you camped
A shelter I never gave
Made me your slave
And got my life destroyed

Sorry thy stay is shortlived
But I hope you understand
My life is ruined I believe
Thy alliance caused my grief

I wish well for your future
That you find one stronger
Than I a weak creature
To house you much longer

A sip I will not try bother
Even for a goodbye shot
Alcohol you've been a brother
Until you wrecked all I got.
