I'll Do It

I'll Do It

A Poem by Victor Warui
"

Feeling Amorous?

"
If I'll have to dance with the wolves,
Be it so.
Their scratches and growls will not deter,
The swing.
For your affection is the soothing balm,
I'll need.

If I'll have to fly high with the birds,
Be it so.
Their claws and beaks will not deter,
The soar.
For your embrace is the protection from falling,
I'll need.

If I'll have to swim deep with the sharks,
Be it so.
Their hunger and the depth will not deter,
The dive.
For your kiss is the bouy from drowning,
I'll need.

If I'll have to play with the blazing fire,
Be it so.
Its thirst and flames will not deter,
The game.
For your love is the asbestos protection,
I'll need.

If I'll have to spend the rest of my life with you,
I'll do it.
'cos poverty and ailment will not deter,
The forever after.
For you are my everything. My breath,
I'll need.
