Head Above Water

Head Above Water

A Poem by Victor Warui
"

Maybe I can't do what you want. Maybe am weak, I can't.

"
How am I to keep my head above water?
When my struggles draws laughter?
My burden and weight is sure
To drag into the bottomless aqua.
Sinking in disgrace, then awhile,
Eddies spiraling me in a whirl,
Like a chariot on a broken wheels.
Meek efforts, bears forbidden fruit peels,
Dragging me to the apex,
Of a peerless diving water roll.
Head's screaming sight of waterfall,
The fall is imminent and about,
Soul's leaving from a Heart's shout,
Do I keep my head above cascading
Fluid or give in to the parading
Inevitable scripted demise?
