Angel

Angel

A Poem by Lydia Gal.

Put your shoes at the door, sleep, prepare for life.”
“Rhapsody on a Windy Night”

T.S.Eliot

I’m an Angel your night-watch

I am staying on your porch

After dark I'll light a torch

No one disturbs your peace

Cat’s asleep  the rain will cease

Owls bats keep silent please

Silver garden silver loam

Moonlight caresses your home

You sleep silver and don’t know

Silent house silent streets

And I hear your heartbeats

And the baby birds’ night tweets

In the night your Angel’s blue

In the silver morning dew

Prays and blesses days to you

Time is present life moves fast

Future comes forget the past

Shanti Shanti Shanti trust.
