SuperglueA Poem by Vonnie15and like a naughty child I snipped it upMany, many songs ago you gave me your heart and like a naughty child, I snipped it up, threw it on the floor. Forgive me, for I was young, Selfish Chose moments in the sunshine over waiting for rainbows. But many, many songs have come and gone; See this weariness upon my shoulders the lines around my mouth? I have learnt to value what I’m given appreciate the rainbows that make the clouds worthwhile Come back, and we can stick your heart together again I’ll bring the glue.
