Black tears for you

Black tears for you

A Poem by Vonnie15
"

black tears were all I could offer

"

Black tears for you

I cried black tears

soul tears, last night.

Your face was gone,

I could not recall it

The twinkle of your eye,

once part of me:

forgotten

The taste of your honey lips,

no longer on mine.

The black tears ran down

my face,

tried to comfort my

hopeless heart

tried to fill the half

that died with you.

It was not sufficient.

You were the one who

taught me to

live, to cry, to breath.

All gentle thoughts gone,

black tears were all I could

offer.

My black tears dried up

I dried up.

I enjoyed this poem. The sentiment was very well expressed. This was nicely done! Keep it up my friend!
