Black tears for youA Poem by Vonnie15black tears were all I could offerBlack tears for you I cried black tears soul tears, last night. Your face was gone, I could not recall it The twinkle of your eye, once part of me: forgotten The taste of your honey lips, no longer on mine. The black tears ran down my face, tried to comfort my hopeless heart tried to fill the half that died with you. It was not sufficient. You were the one who taught me to live, to cry, to breath. All gentle thoughts gone, black tears were all I could offer. My black tears dried up I dried up.
