As I turn around

your soul lives in me.

Our eyes meet

and my heart stops

at the twinkle in your eye.

that the twinkle is for me.

Just the thought

of being the one to make you smile!

I’d swim across the ocean

to hear you say

those three little words.

Those three little words that

melt the hardest heart.

Those three little words,

the answer to heaven’s questions.

You know those three words well.

and the stars will shine more brightly

as I say them back to you:
