The CatchA Poem by Peter ThomasWrote it thinking about how we get into these no win situations and we end up taking what we can get even though we know we still lose. This is what I believe Nothing is for free Though we wish it, never will it be It’s sad when we think about it We all think we see When really nothings free
Its what we make of it that counts Every minute is precious For every person there is a fee Just to live, for this we must pay Wish it were, wish it may This wish I wish away For all it does nothing will it be So why is it nothings free
I can’t pretend to be Caring about these things All I do is settle for Settle for a lesser score I won’t try and lie to you Life for me is one big sore I won’t try and settle for more All because nothing’s free Thanks to that catch 22 © 2010 Peter ThomasAuthor's Note
