I like it when people use phrases from the long ago because it let's me imagine snowflakes asking Siri or Alexa if they've just been offended! 😃

Now back to the review of your piece, because if I mention snowflakes again they might try to have me cancelled, whatever that means. Maybe they'll take away my Blockbuster rental card or my "melt all snowflakes" membership! 😃

Very cool. I noticed halfway through that I was tapping my foot. Had to be from the "shush of the brushes"!
Also, nice use of "glissade"!
Great imagery. Cool jazz vibe.

There are poets and there are dancers.. but, hang it all, some can do both but .. rarely at the same time.. usually. Unless of course they like the thought and feel of soft material, fabricated or otherwise. Depends on one's lifestyle, perhaps. But, am not asking! A wonderfully thought or few.. or perhaps, more like a dream kept for that rainy day need. Methinks you have.. ..

It is amazing how that works... squiggly lines on paper magically give us what poetry does...
The sensual feel of smooth cloth on skin, or a finger to trace words across a back, like a bead of rain and the way it slides down a window pane on its way somewhere... UMPH! makes me shiver! I think it is that power that makes me so addicted to words. But so few take the time... Thank you for yours...

Oh the deliciousness of the silken and that the way it sways to the beat within your own mind. The way a pen can glide across paper to describe these private elated moments
I love the creativity poured into this piece and the magnificent description poured into the parched paper telling of its secrets and mystify moments

For me, that time Alice was in my life, eighteen months of bliss till she died, I learned what love can be in its greatest strength poured out through eyes, tongues touches and all those other sweet parts with no reservation, no caution, and flying along at full speed. Eighteen months out of seventy-five years and many other happy relationships, is not enough, I think I have seen only one other relationship like it in my life.

He taught me that communication on wants and needs was acceptable and should be expressed. That having a high sec drive wasn’t abnormal or wrong. It was an experience of a life time. Damn I still miss him living close many days. He is very much still my best friend. We talk a few times a week at minimum.
The only other person I’ve come across in my 45 years of living is Mr. Blue Eyes. The earth quaking world shattering, boundary crossing connection. When I’m around him whether in public with no physical contact or in private, I have to be careful because the world falls away. He’s my only focus. It’s the same for him as well. He makes me feels as if I’m the only person in the room and the most beautiful woman in it from the way he looks at me. It’s confusing and exhilarating at the same time. Trust me lots of praying over this situation. It’s been four years and everytime we see each other it’s always the same extreme reaction

He’s been like this since we started talking. This reaction is deep within. Hard to explain. Like I said similar to my ex in Arizona. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think someone would come close to making me feel like he does/did and boom out of nowhere 14 years later.

I think you are saying I might know something about dance? Oh, my... I'm an old hippie from the sixties when the music MADE you get up and wiggle around a bit and pick up a foot once in a while... I am happy beyond words that was before there were phones with cameras... It doesn't really matter, though, I was stoned anyway... Oh, and If you're talking about music I can't even play the radio in tune... If it's the bourbon, well that's another story... Finally, if it's poetry, I've had a lot of practice, and I am in love with the things Erato does to me and a lot of other folks on here...

I love literature so much it is what I've become. I was thinking about that just yesterday, and wondered if there was any kind of analogy to an old married couple together so long they look alike... I did my first public reading in 1967, or 8, and love "peeling the onion" of all its elements. Thank you for noticing.
