I like to remember what the Bible says about "faith". Everything is possible with God.
Vol, I like to imagine God showing us the seven universes and beyond during Eternity.
That is forever, ya know. The Bible does say, "World without end."
We will be spirit. Like God!
I can't wait!
I was sad when my mom was dying, she said, "Don't be sad! It's just a step away!"

The first time I had a meaningful encounter with Quantum Physics was in the movie, "What the Bleep do we Know?" and my initial reaction was, if these guys aren't careful, they're going to prove God.
But a question for you, have you ever heard of non-linear time?

It is a Biblical concept thousands of years before its time... and what got Jesus crucified. God exists outside of time, "everlasting to everlasting." "He says, "I knew you before the foundation of the earth." and Jesus said to the Pharisees, "I tell you the truth, before Abraham was, I Am." Which for them was blasphemy of the highest order. Jesus was taking God's name, saying "I Am God!" Remember what God told Moses at the burning bush?" "Tell them I Am sent you."
For us, time started back there in the past, and the future is up ahead. For God everything that has or ever will happen is all there at once. We are stuck in linear time because our physical bodies are made of matter. God exists as spirit and has no physical existence, so is not limited like we are, the created, are. We do not have the ability to know how it works, but that's not our job. Our job is to love God and love our neighbors and all that implies...
Fun stuff to consider.

Hi Vol - Great poem. I like writing that makes me think and contemplate stuff I’ll never understand. I was always terrible at science. Too technical. Faith is much easier for me to comprehend. Happy Holidays!

I'm glad. You know All we have is one life., and all we kn ow is what we experience, and thought I hate it, our emotions, our attitudes, success as humans cannot be measured by science. In the end, EVERYTHING will burn including the sum of human knowledge. I believe we are souls stuck in a body, and when everything else is gone, there will still be God, and our souls free from the need of all that.

I don't believe anymore in organized religion but have always believed in a Supreme being keeping the universe organized in some order that allows so many different things to exist together and exist with its own perfection...Only wish people would exist together now.
I really like this poem, Vol.

Right there with you Jacob... the church has gotten the Gospel wrong from day one.
Well Vol, have you forgotten that the definitive answer is and always will be forty-two?
As Marvin said, what is the point of anything?
Perhaps he meant that even with a brain the size of his, it was futile to even think we could ever understand the workings and meaning of life and everything else and say thanks for all the fish and hope for the best! 😃
The closer you look at it, the more incomprehensible it becomes, especially with that alien Musk thinking Mars is the solution, which is a bit like saying "okay, we've messed up one planet so why don't we move to a nearby planet to solve our problems... for a price of course!"
Hasn't he read the John Carter of Mars books?
Now, what was I saying? Oh yes, I think beyond a certain point, our heads just turn all these light years into bigly big distances, a bit like when we are reading a book when a character has a very unpronoucable name and our head just starts calling them Mr unpronounceable, as you realise you're forgetting the story for the length of time it's taking you to try to pronounce their name.
So if you understand anything at all, just remember light years become bigly big, hard to say names become Mr unpronounceable and whatever you do, remember your towel always! 😃
