![]() TUMBLEDA Poem by VolThe shadows of the weeping willow we planted at the back of the garden are a green pool of cool air, moist and sweet. Even in the hottest summer, moss grows on the fieldstone steps to the pond and Phaedra, our smokey Persian hides under the hosta and azaleas to lament the coming flow of a brutal Arctic River. Out of the corner of my eye a silent flower detaches from its stem and tumbles through the dappled shade like a tear. © 2024 VolReviews
